This week is the #NationalVolunteerWeek, and we are celebrating our outstanding #Lobo volunteers at SRSU. Caitlyn Pena '24 is being honored with the Gold Medal for the #PresidentsVolunteerServiceAward. Caitlyn is active on campus as an undergraduate Political Science student and athlete for both the volleyball and tennis teams. She participates in several student organizations on campus, in both leadership and membership roles. Off campus, she volunteers in various local and regional organizations, in Alpine and El Paso, her hometown. Overall this year, Caitlyn has volunteered 322 hours. This May, Caitlyn will graduate from SRSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
