Investment Disclosure Requirements
Investment Advisors
All Investment Advisors must be approved by the TSUS prior to conducting business with Sul Ross State University. For information on becoming an Approved Investment Advisor, call the TSUS Vice Chancellor for Finance at (512) 463-1808 or access the web site at www.tsus.edu. All Investment Advisors must obtain approval prior to the investment of university funds. Sul Ross State University currently employs an investment advisor and outside investment managers for the University Endowment. The managers have authority to make investment decisions within their asset class, and according to TSIUS Investment policy guidelines, without obtaining prior approval. Sul Ross State University Friends of the Center for Big Bend Studies: The purpose of the organization is to support the mission and the programs of the Center for Big Bend Studies. The Center for Big Bend Studies fosters interdisciplinary scholarship of the diverse prehistoric, historic and modern cultures of the borderlands region of the United States and Mexico, with emphasis on the area encompassed by Trans-Pecos Texas and north-central Mexico. The center is committed to the recovery, protection and sharing of this region's rich cultural legacy through dynamic programs involving research, education, public outreach and publication. Sul Ross State University Support Organization: The purpose of the organization is to support the mission and the programs of Sul Ross State University. Soft Dollar Arrangements
Steadfast International Master Fund, Ltd. uses soft dollar arrangements to generally fund for research and "hard dollar" expenses. Their goal is to limit soft dollars to 15% or less of thheir total commissions.
