Say hello to "Old Maverick"! 🐂👋 This metal sculpture of a longhorn steer was completed in 1984 by the late artist and Alpine native Harold Nichols. In 1991, Nichols donated the sculpture to SRSU, where he currently looks at East Highway 90, greeting all entering visitors heading west.
